With the widespread adoption of gene sequencing, omics technologies, and big data analysis in the life sciences, bioinformatics has become a fundamental pillar of modern biomedical research. To support the data analysis and decision-making needs of research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, agricultural breeding units, and government regulatory agencies in their scientific and production activities, we established the Bioinformatics Technology Consulting Service Laboratory (hereinafter “the Laboratory”). Rooted in the deep integration of bioinformatics techniques and software engineering, and backed by years of project experience and strong academic foundations, the Laboratory is dedicated to providing clients with high-quality, customizable, and reproducible bioinformatics solutions to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into industrial applications. By integrating a multidisciplinary team of experts, building a self-controlled analysis platform, and developing a comprehensive database system, we have created a multi-tiered, end-to-end service framework covering data analysis, platform development, biosafety assessment, academic support, and technical training. Looking ahead, the Laboratory will continue to deepen the integration of AI and omics analyses, actively participate in industry standards development and open-source community initiatives, and strive to become a leading domestic and internationally renowned bioinformatics consulting institution.
